Afternoon dual-sport ride rural Grant/Rapides Parishes, LA
This is a relatively short and easy dual-sport ride I like to take in the afternoons after classes. Nothing terribly difficult, just some highway, backroads, lots of gravel roads, quick spin in and out of Camp Livingston. Its a fun ride.
Here's a Google Earth plot of the route, unsure of the actual mileage as I took a few detours today.

As you can see it crosses a SWEET highline, but I'm not ballsy enough to ride it. Today while I was walking on it taking pictures I heard trucks on it and got spooked and high-tailed it outta town. IDK the legality of riding it this far north. I know down where it paralells Camp Livingston, its a wildlife protected area (OHV are not allowed).
And here's just a couple pics along the way. *click for fullsize*
