Advice for what exhaust,,?
Guys, I live in Sumatra where the police love to stop you for no reason and ask for TIPS.. lol..
I am running a R9 racing exhaust with TBR piggy back controller,
I am away to install a 331 big bore kit .
Can you let me know which exhaust you would recommend which is not to loud so as not to attract attention of the police??
One that can change from loud to quite would be great as i am ok if not in the town.. ?
Any ideas,, ?

IMO you got 2 choices that give enough power & keep the police happy!
FMF Q4 is what i got & it's very police friendly. If your not riding in a forest, you can take out the spark arrestor & that gives the Q4 a slightly deeper & louder tone. Sounds very good & keeps the neighbors & local police happy!
I know a guy with a Delta 4 Barrel exhaust....It's well made & has the same noise level as a Q4 with the 4 barrel silencer in. With the silencer out it sounds like a twobros m7 (loud). Best of both worlds!

I just bought a new one from EJK,. For the 331,, Did not know they reprogramed them for free, acch well,, Sorry scottish coming through,, lol,, I am buying up any spares, here as so difficult to get anything in Sumatra,,
I just rebuilt the rear shock with a racetech gold valve,, what a differnce,,
Once i have all together,, i will rebuild the engine and port the head, I have done some in the past,,
Also will do the Cam mod listed on here, unless i can getsome better cams before i shut it down for the engine rebuild,
Can you believe i cannot even get tyres here,, Go figure..
Any way that is my problems,, The KLX is perfect for Sumatra roads.. driving on the freeway here is what they call OFFROADING in the UK.,.. LOL

I run the FMF Q4 slip on and FMF power bomb header. I'm pretty sure that this combination is the quietest combo you can get for aftermarket exhaust. The Q4 is the quietest slip on I could find and the head actually reduces sound by about 1.5db according to FMF. The combination would probably be your best bet if you're looking for something quiet and police friendly. I've been running my setup since January and haven't had any cops say anything about the exhaust.
I started off with the Leo Vince, made specifically for the 250EFI, with O2 sensor bung.
It comes with a whole range of quiet tips and spark arrestor inserts. With the quiet core insert it is city and neighbour friendly, with no power difference. With the racing butt plug the thing roars, but I cannot feel a power difference.
I picked up a FMF Q4 from a forum member at a good price, so now using that. Much louder than the Leo Vince, but cops here dont give a hoot, if you can find a cop in Seychelles.
So if you want the Leo Vince, I will sell it for 150 Shipped to Indo.( In the pic below, it is still fitted to the bike)

KLX300R muffler with the butt plug removed. It's been known for a long time that no aftermarket can is quieter or performs better.
Weighs a couple pounds more than aftermarket cans.
