OK, I'm no dummy, but looking at the front of the bike yesterday I wasn't really 100% sure where to start to remove the front tire to put my new D606s on first. Do I start on the right with the 4 little bolts or with the big nut. I have all the torque specs, just need the first couple of steps so I don't have to figure it out on my own. I know, service manual. Have a factory one for every thing I have, just haven't gotten around to it and no shop is close that has one. First few steps PLEASE !

Loosen the 4 bolts, just loosen, then break loose the axle, the big nut, its threded into the other side of the forks, once the axle is loose you can take it out then remove the 4 bolts and little plate. Installation is reverse of removal....lol

You have to back off the four nuts first to release the presure on the bigger axle nut before you can turn it. the big nut is part of the axle, slides out as one piece.
Oh, you beat me to it
