Default 7/8 vs. 1 1/8, bars and bending?

topic basicly sums it up, are big bars that much more resistant to bending than 7/8s? i have bend 4 7/8 bars so far, stock, msr, and 2 pro tapers. if i go big bar, i have to get not only the bars and grips, but also adaptors for the bars and the hand guards. is it really worth it to go big?

Sorry I'm no help...I went for Gold ones

I think you will find anything is more resilient then the stock bars.

Thats pretty good going to bend 4 sets of bars.
I bent the stock ones very early on but since switching to the pro tapers, no issue.
And I regularly bin my bike.

The 1 1/8" are a quite a bit stronger.
If you bend 7/8" bars that often, it could be money well spent.
