This thing is a gas hog in the woods.
Mine was very mild on the gas off-road... even with the 13T. I was still getting 65+ out of it.

Haven't checked it since the DynoJet...

I was getting 60's in the woods before the dynojet. Same as around town. 50mpg seems like a huge change.

I got 65mpg stock and 50-54 after jet kit and muffler. Pulled the airbox cover off and now I get 57-60mpg but loose power around 9k rpm.

There is not much power to be had past about 8k anyway. That's pretty good mileage though.

Somewhere I saw a dynograph and power is ramping down past about 8k. I would keep my shifts around 8-8.5k.

I should be clear that my single track riding is competitive enduros on tight single track in first or second gear. Engine fan comes on occasionally. Finger always over the brake. Gas and then brake and then gas and then brake.

I imagine that there are other locations in this country where "woods" riding is actually just a road in the woods.

You really get concerned about fuel consumption when you are hitting the reserve before the end of a 50 mile enduro.
