Default 4T and Ester? Motul 5100

I got some Motul 5100, 15w-40. It doesn't say 4T on it like the 3100 20w-50 I got. The 5100 says ester synthetic blend. The bottle of Motul 3100 says 4T. What's the difference?

All the guys at the local Honda shop use the 5100 for their race bikes. They run 3 teams, SM, motorcross and road race. They swear by it . "Plenty good enough if you do regular oil changes."

It says mineral oil on it, that's synthetic? It appears I ran 100 miles or so on the bike with 1/4 synthetic and the rest whatever the dealer had...
