this bike was announced nearly 2 months ago, so it's no surprise to anyone around here. but looking at it's specs kind of surprises me a bit. like it has an 18" rear wheel instead of the industry standard 18. plus it is not street legal which is a major downfall, it's too bad they don't offer a bike nearly like it but street legal, kind of like the 300/250S. I like my tiny passenger footpegs and the break-in sticker over the tachometer glass that i've never had anywhere other than a ninja streetbike. things like that make the 250S really cool especially since it's 100% dot legal.

But my KLX250S is right where I want it - 331cc + FCR pumper. I really can't ask for anything more right now - I think it's perfect. But maybe in a few years ... by then we'll have fuel injection and hydrolic cams to look forward to
