I'm having a 351 kit installed today. Bill Blue is very helpful and available to speak with. I've ridden in Death Valley with a KLR and that's one reason I down sized to the 250, much easier to pick up. I'd really would like to do DV again with the 351 it will be much easier to ride in the sand.
Enjoy!!

I installed a temp gauge on mine to monitor the 351. It barely breaks a sweat even on the hot days loaded with gear with my fat *** on it.

To break it in - start it up and drive it like you stole it. Honestly, if anything is wrong, you will know it in about the first 10 seconds.

Enjoy

I'm sold on the 351. I'm not far from ordering one for my bike. I need to do the rear shock on my DR650, put Gold Valves in the forks of my KLX, then do the 351. Then I'll put a spring on the rear shock of the KLX and I should be in good shape.

Hopefully by March or April this can happen. And I'll do the installation myself. Cheapest local price I've gotten is about $450. Screw that.

Talked to Bill this AM. Hes really friendly and answered all my questions. Sounds like no ones returning their old cylinders so hes low on them. Hey guys we want BB kits too, return your cores and buy a new clutch, month supply of gas and beer with your core deposit return

I'm sending my cylinder back tomorrow. The valve cover O-ring needed replaced and they can't get one until next Wednesday no worries weather here isn't worth ridding in, anyhow I'll be ready when it is.

I sent my core to Bill with my initials carved in. He sent mine right back to me with some sweet adjustments...
