Great pics as usual, and I'm still digging that van. I used to draw vans like that back in the 70's when I was a kid.
Glad it all turned out, and you had fun.
You need to caption the shot of you in the shop.
Is that called praying for a healthy 351 install ?

Thursday evening: Lookout City, an abandoned mining area with various buildings @ 3,800' overlooking Panamint Valley before sunset
Friday: Saline Valley Rd to Hot Springs, Hot Springs to Steel Paas, Steel Pass to Eureka Dunes, Eureka Dunes to Crankshaft Junction, to Eubehebe Crater, to Tea Kettle, then either Hunter Mtn or Lipencot to Saline Valley Rd and back to PSR.
Saturday: Chloride Cliffs, Beatty NV,Leadfield, Titus Canyon

Im pretty sure it was a previous owner who ran it low on oil.
