Sounds good to me. I am trying to find out what my 250 is getting and at 101 miles I'm still not on reserve. I've ridden a little dirt and gravel and paved roads, but haven't been easy with it. 4'000 - 60000 RPM except when the Harley tried to pass me and I was at 9,000 and doing 82+ on the speedo. Will see what happens tomorrow if it doesn't rain too much. PS: no problems at that speed except the wind.

My 351 SF is getting 50 mpg on the street. It goes on reserve at about 80 miles from full tank.

MAUIRIDER, what kind of speeds are you running to get 80? Slow in town or highway? My ride is 18 miles on flat land in nebraska and I normally have to switch to reserve at 65 and I'm stone stock....hmmm maybe I need a 351 just for better gas mileage

Not getting 80 mpg. I get 50mpg. When I fill the tank I can go around 80 miles, before it goes on reserve. We dont have too much open road here, and I usually crank it hard off the stops. Rpm when cruising 6 - 7k. Get the 351, you will have more fun mileage!

I get right around 43 to 45. I'm running a 14/ 46 sprocket combo.

Stock on the 2006 I was originally getting 76mpg. I have the KLX300 cylinder, the full Muzzy and rejetted with KLX300 parts and the KDX200 snorkel on the stock airbox so I get 59mpg. Working backwards it seems to me dropping to 43mpg at 351cc (on stock gearing anyway) seems a little low. I would think 50ish would be more like it. How does your plug look?
