I'd get a Versys with Givi panniers, again. It's a fantastic little road bike good for many different rides.

With summertime finally here, I've shifted my thoughts on a second bike. I test rode a Victory High Ball over the weekend and think I want one. Could just be an impulse thing though. Gotta sit on it for a little while & see if it passes

Kawasaki Ninja 650R. I love this bike's engine. It's torquey and just plain fun. And while it looks like an uncomfortable pocket-rocket sport bike, it has a geometry, ergonomics, and seating that is more "normal" motorcycle than torture device. And did I mention that I love that parallel twin motor?

I couldnt get the KLX to ride the way I needed it to, I did all the mods except the big bore kit. It was just to heavy for the tight single track of rock, ruts, n roots we have around here. Got myself a KTM 250 XC-F for the dirt. Bad Azz, rip snorting Yee-Haa ride. Its a keeper.
Got myself a Kawasaki ZG1000 ( Concours) for the street. Best of both worlds for me
Next is a trailer for the back of the Concours, so I can bring the KTM with me to go play

Good grief, fooswolf, that's a Mad Max rig right there.

I don't know...I think I'd stay with the Ninja first and a Versys second. I'm pretty well through with big, heavy DS bikes. It's what I like about the KLX.

As an official Harley guy, what are your thoughts on the new Victory Highball?
