Yeah, somebody here has already installed that combo. I forget who though. It's nice to have the option of going with a different slip-on though

We can't all get the deal you got on your system! After some shopping around I was able to get my slip-on for $313 w/free shipping, and the header for $179 w/free shipping. $492 Total. Full Muzzy system (new) $550.

Thats just freakin ridiculous. Highway robbery. For a simple damn pipe and a simple can. Sure, your paying for their particular R&D, but thats of no consolment to me when I shell out 5 and a half bills and see some pipe laying in front of me. Especially on 4 stroke pipes. 2 stroke pipes are ALOT different yet are ALOT cheaper.

The new 4 stroke pipes for MX bikes from FMF I think............? Cost anywhere from $800 -$1000 ( <-- grand for the titanium version). I don't know if its because they are MX bikes or its because of the new MX bike 4 stroke design. I know the CR450 at least has a 2 stroke like expansion chamber to it. Not as big mind you, but not a regular pipe either. Like a hybrid between the 2. I'd be damned if I'd be shelling out $800 for a pipe.

Default high cost

i know.. when i look at the product theres not much to it. maybe $75 worth of materials if that. i know labor is expensive, but jeez.
the aftermarket companies know that most consumers want more than what the factory has to offer. so i guess they charge whatever they want.
everything i want has gotten more expensive the last few years!

Offroad pipes seem like a bargin compared to sportbike exhausts though.
