2018 KLX 250 weight
I weighed my minimalist KlX , 290 lbs.street legal trim. 2.7 gallons of gas in IMS tank, lithium battery, FMF Q4 silencer, and still have passenger pegs. I’m pretty happy with weight and there’s not much more that could be done.

I haven't worked hard at weight reduction, because I haven't noticed it much. I've actually added some with luggage!
With a full 3 gallon IMS tank and in dirt mode, 305# with 54.1% rear bias. It feels like a roadster with the SM suspenders.

So far mine is 292 and looking to get a lighter battery to put it under 290.
I'm also socal in Topanga.
