Not sure but a good question. Since final assembly is done in China for the BMW it would go to reason they are.

• TR 650 Strada, unladen weight: 168 kg (370.37 lbs) / weight fully fuelled: 186 kg (410.06 lbs). (US-Version: 374.78 lbs / 414.47 lbs)
• TR 650 Terra, unladen weight: 166 kg (365.96 lbs) / weight fully fuelled: 184 kg (405.65 lbs). (US-Version n.a.)
• TR 650 Terra without ABS, unladen weight: 165 kg (363,76 lbs) / weight fully fuelled: 183 kg (403.44 lbs). (US-Version: 368.17 lbs / 410.06 lbs)
Confused here, did you mean to say that the TE630 weighs 50lbs LESS than the KLX ? The Terra and Strada are showing curb weight around 405-410 which would only be about 15-20lbs more than the KLX.

I'm actually becoming more interested in the Strada the more i learn about it, key will be if they can bring it in at a decent price as you said. I had my heart set on doing up a Kawi 450 and putting plates on it but if the Strada can compete at an overall price point (17" rims for the 450 + light kit and tags + price of bike) I might have to put some serious thought to the Husky.

Now you confused me, wc. If I'm reading you correctly here, you're saying the KLX weighs about 380 pounds. Is that with you on it?...or do I need to get back to the tequila bottle?

Dynobob's post re weight made sense to me: TE630 = KLX+50. Strada = TE630+60. Therefore: Strada = KLX + 110 = 410. Yes?No?

Oh durr.... i'm an idiot. For some reason i was thinking of my Ninja's weight in place of the KLX. Sounds like i'm the one that needs to stop drinking or start drinking more.

Now that we're all on the same page and i look like an complete moron i'm suddenly alot less interested in the Strada. 400+ lbs for a 650 single is a fat pig, what is that thing made out of ? Cast Iron ?

The KLR is even more stout. On the road that would likely be an asset. Off the road that would be YOUR ASSet.

You're hardly an idiot but having fun at another's expense on this forum is required behavior isn't it? That's what dan888 told me.
