Anyone fitted up a rear fender that looks better than that goofy doubled up boat tail tail light lensed clusterfork?

I haven't seen where anyone's fitted a KX or the like and I don't get where I can get a good look at some of the MX fenders, but I'd love to dump that ugly pile of plastic for something that actually looks like it belongs on a dual sport/off road motorcycle.

Anyone done anything on at 2009 and up?

 

Do you have an edge tail light or is your back end entirely stock?

 

Entirely stock. If I remove the black end portion I will "wear" every bit of mud that the tire flings off. That short tail might look good on a supernoto, but would suck in off road and wet weather use.

I want something like a motocross fender, but I've not seen any and figured I'd ask here first to see if anyone has done anything yet.

 

Well .. If your talented you can start buy getting a MX fender and doing a one off.. There are many rear lights you can put in there..
Start drawing on paper..
For me I like the rear 09 .. With the rack on it looks fine

 

I agree... we are in a small group that like the fender

I believe it is either the polisport or the UFO 2006-08 kx250

 

Do you have a side shot of that fender? I think the KLX is too short (from swing arm to rear fender) for that long of a fender and it may look a little weird from the side. Maybe a shorter KX80 or KX100 fender would look better.
