Is it just me that wants a rear rack? I have seen a few on here doing searches, one from cycleracks.com (to big and bulky for me) and one from ebay (too cheap looking)

But last night I emailed these guys, they said they have a 250 rack on the drawing board but it'd be a few months. I was wondering if we could get a rough count and maybe they'd make it more of a priority. I imagine "our" rack may be similar to the Yamaha WR250 rack. It looks like it will run between $120 - $185. Take a look.

Also, if you own a 2007 KLX 250 s and want to sell your rack cheap let me know, I will just try to mke that work...

 

good luck. getting an 06 rack to secure to the subframe on an 09 might be a tall task.
there are 4 screws that go into our subframe which already have the nuts welded in place. at the very least you have some welding to do.
