Default 2007 KLX250s with 490 miles for sale $3200

Going to try to get down to one motorbike (DR650, KTM 690, Husky TE610 or something) so my 2007 KLX250 is up for sale. Only 490 miles on it. Never been laid down. Basically stock.

Located in Duluth, MN. Can deliver to Minneapolis area after sale is finalized.

Extras:
- Utah Sports skid plate
- Wolfman Enduro tank bag
- Modified a Kolpin ATV tank bracket to lay flat on the KLX rear rack. This allows mounting the 1.5 gallon Kolpin can on the rear rack when needed and it won't slide around like it can with bungee cords.

Other bike up for sale is a 2006 DL1000 V-Strom. $6300 for that.

Best way to contact me is via e-mail at LikelySuspect@gmail.com or call me at 218-341-2582

Good luck on the sale on both bikes....price seems very fair.

Now the fun part, the one do it all bike.

My vote would be for a 610 husky.

I'm looking at the 690 SMC. Been hot for it since they announced it. I've just grown a bit weary of the KTM maintenance. We'll see.

Good luck.

Yeah, the TE610 is probably what would make me happiest. Relative cost and the limits of my riding talent suggest a DR650 would probably be a better fit for me. I wish the DR was 45-50 horsepower in stock form like my old Pegaso 650 was, although that thing was heavy for a single.

Oh good lord, don't consider the dr ... thats a lazy pig. Now a plated xr650r is real nice and light for a 650, but ya gotta kick. KTM has the lc4's smc or six days...nice bike. I got an adventure btw....talk about torque and hp. I luv my lc4 engine. It is the heaviest pig I would own....and my cheeks hurt after a ride.....except when she decides to take a nap in sugar, man it makes the klx feel like a two-smoke...lol

Last I checked the DR was 43 HP...thats close enough. Little airflow increase and a bump on the jets should bring it to your minimum of 45 HP I would imagine.

I thought the DR650 was only 34 horsepower, which sounds weak to me. Can't remember how that was measured though. My off-road needs are mostly exploring rather than riding fast, but even I appreciate something that gets up and goes or breaks the rear tire loose when I want it to.

That sounds about right from riding one. A lc4 motor puts out over 50 hp stock, before pipe and jetting.

My adventure will loft the front with a full tank of gas with just throttle easy....even does it when I'm not trying. I imagine an smc or six days would be just awesome with 30 lbs less weight. My adv is technically my street ride.

Only 1 bike heh. mmmm let me think.
Bingo

I figure this replaced the 640 Adventure?
A bit cheeky call a 654cc bike a 690.

But BMW have gone completely loopy.
Calling an 800cc bike the F650??
Go figure.
