I was wondering what Edge tail light you are installing on the 2007 klx250's. I have seen alot on the new 09's but not many on the 07's.

Save your $$ and do a 'WestOz chop' and fit the smaller AUS spec rear lens.

 

I Have a kx 250/450 rear fender coming in the mail and was wondering what Edge people were using. I have already done a chop of the stock, and was just going for something alittle more different.

D-Tracker tail light here (same as AUS).

 

Even my bike has the same Tail Light as its a Japanese spec!

 

I still think this one looks the best of all of the tail light mods. It gets it way up and away from the mud, and the rack protects the light.

 

Deej, that rear fender setup looks cool. Who makes the tail and turn signals?

 

Sorry to revive an old thread; but, I have been doing plenty of searching and I'm not finding the info I need.

I would like to ditch the giant tail light on my 07.

I was hoping you could chime in and let me know if these Aus spec assemblies already come with three wire sockets and dual filament bulbs from the factory. I believe your bike came stock with the better looking smaller light and functioning brake light, correct?

Also, if anyone else knows a reliable source where I can get one of these I would greatly appreciate a link or something.

 

Check out the 'pics of your bad azz klxs' sticky thread. Look at the 06-7s with the maier moto rear fender and the edge or the baja design tail light. Looks more modern than with the stock fender. Pages 13,22 show a KX rear fender looks really sharp

 

Don't you have to hack up the frame for that mod.

I still plan to toss the rack back on now and then for camping trips; so, I think I need to stick with the stock fender for now. I just hate the bulbous US tail light and want to make the swap as easy as possible.
