2006 KLX250s vs 2009 torque setting differences?

I was looking for the torque setting for the rear axel nut on a 2006 KLX250s. I found this service manual online, but later realized that it was for 2009+ models: http://mototh.com/files/kawasaki/KLX...Manual_new.pdf

I ended up torquing the rear wheel down to 81ft lbs. is this correct? It felt way too tight and like something was on the verge of breaking
Are there any differences in the torque settings between 2006 and later models?
