Just started messing with the pipe today and decided to try and solve the gap problem using the P4 tip with the spark arrester. I just removed the spark arrester that comes with it because it has a thick ring mounted to it causing the gap when you use an optional tip..

I used metal screen I had laying around.



I pushed it in the same way the original one fits and it is captured between the P4 tip & muffler.



Now there is no gap using the spark arrester with the P4 tip.




Now I just need to head to Lowes and find some stainless screen to replace the regular metal one I put in there...
