Default 2 bros + powerbomb vs Q4

I currently have a 2 bros on my bike with the P3 quiet insert (quietest available). It's a tad too loud for my tastes, specifically when I'm accelerating. It's an acceptable noise level when plodding along at a maintained speed, but the second I want to build up a little more speed the pipe reminds me it's there. So I read that the FMF powerbomb header acted as a pre-muffler (according to their website).

So I want some opinions if anyone feels like sharing: Do you think it's worth it to see if the powerbomb reduces the noise of the two brothers or should I just sell the two brothers and get the Q4 since everyone claims it's quiet?

Additionally, has anyone with the two brothers noticed a drop in noise when they put on a powerbomb header?

I kinda agree, You just can't have both............
I have the PB w/HMF w/Q-insert and it still sounds REALLY GOOD!!!!!
The PB header does not make it quieter by any means.

There's been a ton of comparisons between 2-Bros - HMF - Muzzy (Deej loves his Muzzy) and lets not forget Big-Gun plus and many others. At the end of the day they are are so close it's not worth getting your panties all ruffled up over.

So, if you want the performance exhaust it "will" be louder than stock, even with quiet inserts.

damn, not what i was hoping to hear.

stock is pretty disappointing, i do want to hear my bike... just don't want to hear it screaming at me all day.

2 bros idle sounds great, its just getting on it more than just a little bit seems to make every dog i ever pass want to break its leash and come at me... plus the neighbors look at me like i'm an a-hole too then.

Hey Chris, you could take the outlet off and try repacking your can tighter with more packing material. Not sure what effect that might have performance wise but, it might quiet it down a little. Exhaust packing is fairly cheap so it probably wouldn't hurt to try.

FMF Q4 plus PB is perfect. Not too loud but has a nice growl.
