Default RE: Another alternative

other alternatives for c/s sprockets, AFAM #24502, JTF 516, and others that should work according to their measurements, JTF 512, and SPROCKET SPECIALIST #504k. Most I cross referenced with JTF 516, and the kawa ex 250 88'-89' and el 250 88'-94' .

So far I have ordered:

1. afam 24502 13t C/S sprocket
2. sprocket specialist 45t rear sprocket
3. klx 300r dyno jet kit
4. k&n flush mount signal lights
5. Acerbis enduro tail light/license plate holder
6. xgx undead graffix kit
7. mountain bike fold down ultra light mirrors
8. black vinyl for number plates
9. fire flies air caps
10. big gun evo x full exhaust system
11. 110 link 520 racing chain
12. pro grips blk
13. and a whole load of new tools to get the job done

With all this and armed with my dremal I think I might be able to cut the weight by at least 20 pounds. Most of the stuff is not due to arrive till
mid to late Feb. due to back orders. But as soon as I get everything together and do some test riding. I will post pictures and results. Please someone be the good sport and try to fit the IMS tank. Im already on a limb with the exhaust system. And I already had to buy my wife a $1,900 anniversary ring to cover my ***, That way when she See's all the delivery's she cant say anything.

MaverickAus, what top hi-way speed have you reached in 6th? does it do better in 5th? I've hit 86mph on the flat hi-way(13/45). With stock gears I had a hard time maintaining 70. You'll be amazed how well this bike reacts to lower gearing
sorry I took so long to get back I lost the www address lol. Tony I have had mine up to 110kph / 70mph and I'm still running it in so I haven't tried for top speed

sorry again I just got eye surgery and Im all jacked up on percacet and valium, Anyways that was a 300r ims tank on a 1996 klx 250. I sent IMS a email but they told me it wont fit. I even sent frame drawings. I think they are full of crap. regardless Im going to order it eventually. I think with miner fabrication it will fit if any. post back if you get any new info about the ims tank because I think the acerbis one is ugly.
