That's because you have the new Hybrid engine.

I get 53 mpg and could careless what anyone else gets. There are way too many factors to have a general consensus on avg. mpg. All I know is it's better then the 13 mpg I get in my Ram. Long live the KLX!

The numbers are meaningless without units. MPG? Which gallons? KML? L/100km? How big a tank?

with my 3.7 i was doing 180 no problem. save that sucker for death valley trips and the like cus it puts a ton of weight over the front end as it puts more weight forward with the wings.

LOL!...it is nice to have the fuel when needed on the Acerbis, isn't it? I'm preparing to join up with some riding buddies in CO in a couple of weeks, and it's great not to have worry about fuel bottles and gas stations for the full day's ride like many are. I leave my tank on all the time and just don't fill it up for local or short trail rides.

Full day crap! I can't ride more than a couple of hours without needing fuel. Hit reserve at 80 miles in 1.3 hours when cruising highway.

It's like having a bladder the size of a peanut. Always having to stop and fill.
