Ok, the stock lightbulb for the KLX250s sucks, I do a lot of night riding, and the stock, even on highbeam, is, well, horrible .. I found this bulb ( ) and Amazon says it doesn't fit, but on RockyMountainATV (where they charge 30$ of shipping -_-) they say they do, I think they do because it's a H4 but I want to make sure they do, what do you guys know? :S Thanks so much!

 

Can't answer your question but on my 09 you can put the dimmer switch in the middle and get both elements to glow and it's a bit brighter.

 

I've had pretty good results using a silver star ultra. Have you tried adjusting your set up? There is a procedure and specs for it. I thought my 2012 head light was okay from the factory.

 

I did, but still didn't quite cut it out, also that I live in Northern Ontario in the woods with mooses roaming around, I really don't want to take my chances. I'll go see those headlights, thanks !

 

I run the PIAA bulb in my bike, so it should fit yours.

I have and love the PIAA bulb, but still want more light. I wear a helmet light in the winter, but I'm pretty sure it's illegal on the road. I too have to deal with moose on a much to regular basis. I think I'm going to try the Cyclops 8" light, but for now am going to install some cheap walmart lights just to use when I need them.
