Anyone who is running 13 - 45, what chain length did you go with? I'm thinking a 110 should work.

 

I used a 108.

 

108, and in my opinion, the 13-45 is the absolutely perfect combination. I can still do 60 no problem, but the slow trails are now way easier on the bike.

 

And mama aint complaining a tad, two thumbs up.

 

same here 13/45...110 cut down to fit..cuz I couldn't find a 108. It works good all round, but I wonder what RPMs I would be at for 60MPH if I went to a 47 rear?....anyone running 13/47 please feel free to speak up.

approx 7800 for a guess

 

Right now I'm running a14/46 combo and a trail master knobby. To go 60 mph the engine turns 7000 rpm. The speedo actually reads 65 but I checked it against my gps and the speedo is about 5 mph off. The bad part of running the rpm's that high is my fuel milage is down to about 46 mph. (300 cc)

 

What size tires are you using, ol guy? I'm running 14/47 and I can do a speedo-indicated 60 at less than 7K rpms, on my 2009. 90/90/21 front and 120/90/18 rear, Dunlop 606

 

I'm running the 13-45 and at 60 indicated which is closer to 55 its right at 7,000
