11/23 ride report w/ pics
My buddy and I went up to Tolland State Forest today up in Mass. It was a brisk start to the morning, when I left my house in CT it was 28 degrees out. By the timeI picked up my friend and his xr200, and the time it took to get up to mass, it was in the mid 30's. I had my long johns on so i was good...
Was a good morning to ride, since it was so cold, there were harldy any other riders out. Ground was frozen too so there was no dust!. The puddles however...they were a bit cold. I can't hit a puddle slow, I guess its the kid in me. They all had a thin layer of ice on them. By the time noon came around the temperature was about 40out, and the ice was starting to melt off our boots and front fenders.Trails then started to get alittle muddy. No problem.
Started going up a bunch of rocky trails and hill climbs, and my buddy was having a rough time on his XR. He's usually a real good rider and keeps up with me through the tight stuff, but had fallen 3 times already and I was constantly waiting for him. I didn't mind though. It was fun bustin his *****.
We found a couple of fields so we decided it was a good place to rip some wheelies and take some pics. Haha, felt like an idiot though, when i was takin pics of my friend,I had my bikeresting on its side stand. The bike was standing there for a couple of minutes, and right when a couple quad riders ran into us (not literally), the kick stand sunk and the bike fell over right infront of them. Talk about feeling stupid!!! Nothing like dropping your bike when your not even on it!
Sorry if the pics come up as links. I searched the forum to learn how to post pics like the rest of you, tried it several times and it hasn't worked. Oh well. If someone wants topost these pics instead of everyone having to click on the links feel free.

You guys need some proper gear!
Roost deflector, proper jersey, and proper riding pants are a must. You couldn't get me to sling my leg over the bike without them! Well, offroad at least.
Get some bark busters too!

Now copy the link to your image and past it in between the two inner brackets:

It should look like this (I put spaces in so you can see the text instead of the picture)

Good looking pics. 1 question sinkoman, how are proper riding pants any better than a pair of jeans execpt for maybe being waterproof. After reading most of your current posts it seems like you might be the next IG around here
let me try that because i have no luck with this either.
