Great pics, I like the one with the wild horses. I hope I can get to see that some day.

Like I said on ADV "Thanks for sharing Red, looks like an awesome ride. Looks like you would definitely need the big gas tank to get across some of those desolate areas. I love to see people make things like this happen."

Speaking of big gas tanks, was the Acerbis adequate, or did you need to empty the primus backups too? A better question would be: how many miles between fills on the longest leg? as I think you're getting better mileage than I am. Thanks again, R, for the report. Good stuff!

Thanks Guys,
Thanks for taking the time to read it. I am not sure how long the longest leg was, but I am thinking it was the leg from Cedarville to Denio Junction, and I thought I was going to start gasping for fuel. Tony did have to stop and tip his bike once. He was using a bit more fuel than me, but when I fueled up I think I still had a half gallon left. I din't need to dip into the fuel bottles at all. A bit longer day might have been when we got turned around at Skirks Ranch after I fell into Guano Creek. We had to back track quite a ways and by the time we rolled into Adel my bro had to tip his bike there as well, but we wtill made it with a bit of fuel to go. I really liked having the fuel pump rather than tipping.

Thanks Punk, Thanks for reading.

….. just do it …….
I am going over the maps in the Washington Recreation atlas tonight, planning to ride the Washington Backroads Adventure Trail. So far it looks very interesting. The ride down to Packwood from Blaine on slab does not look like a lot of fun though.
