Default 09 question

ok i start the bike and it misses even after a warm up, ya snap the throttle and it just cuts off it started this morning but I kinda thought it was cuase it hasnt been ran, i just went to start it let it warm up, and its cutting off WTF, oh well, anyone else have this problem. Maybe its just me lol

could just be bad gas. how long has it been sitting?drainthe tankand fill it with some good fuel. you might want to drain the float bowl too.

its not old but thats still a possiblilty we have bad gas here,, ok ive been running supreme as well could that have effected it

91 octaneis required on '09's, it is in the manual and on the sticker on the backside of the sidepanel.

I never bothered to check the manual on it, but my dealer told me 87 was fine. I notice a lot of knocking when the motor is loaded and figured that must be the cause. Did not realize that 91+ was the requirement.

that may be it i remember reading about it but imma burn out lol,, ive been sticking 93 in it. or maybe it just needs to warm up longer i dont know,, heres the crappy thing guys, when i called about my recall they said they had to order parts, and i said cool cause my grips are not slipping yet,, he was like grips you have that one too, what you mean too. lol,, he said theres another recall on it, but i havent gotten the 2nd letter yet. maybe thats it to i dont know, anyway im not gonna let it rain onmy parade cuase i love the klx freaking love it. and there is always warrenty

lol i would like to read about it lmao, but yeah i love mine but the way i see it, its new and new chit has bugs that always need worked out so imma not goin to stress it

It makes me cry just to think about Eric's bike and the problems he had with it........but again that's just me I guess.

well i hope all mine is, is just bad gas imma goin to drain it today after work,, and drain the float bowl, and see if that makes it better and if not then its off to the shop at. 398miles
