09 oil filter part#

can anyone confirm that the fram ch6015 fits the 09?

I think it was that one,, but anywayz according to advance books the 09 filter it called for was not the right filter

the fram web site doesnt have 09 listed yet either

yeah so all i did for my first oil change was just go to the stealership and bought one

Somebody posted a cross reference on one of the forums that matched the dealer number for 07KLX to a few standard brands.

I remember it started a discussion of how some brands were crap, but I don't remember where I saw it.

I remember looking at the fiche on the kawi site to see if the 09 used the same filter as the 07, which it did... I think. (probably worth rechecking).

I used a Wix 29244 (think that's the number) with excellent results. Can anybody post a picture of the '09 filter and filter basket so we can see what's different between '09 and '07?

I believe I was given the 06 or 07 filter...Kawi brand worked fine...I changed the oil in a 100 miles....Seemed clean and was circulating ok...Too early but for $10....I love changin the earl...

Hold on here Gentleman, shouldn't any oil filter that works on an 06-07 work on an 09? Does the 06-07 oil filter have the same kawi part number as the 09? I would be really, really surprised if they were different.
