Default 09 KLX250S throttle tube

Sorry I know its been asked but the answers were not clear to me. What are my options with part numbers for a new throttle tube. The previous owner hacked up the original throttle tube and I would like to replace it. I have handguards so whatever I replace it with needs removable end caps.

I just replaced mine with an inexpensive Motion Pro deal. I don't think the KLX requires anything costly or technical. If you run barkbuster style hand guards/protectors, you don't need a high dollar metal/alloy throttle tube because the guard will protect the plastic tube. Plus a decent plastic one like the Motion Pro version is highly impact resistant. Grinding an opening for the guard mount is easily done on bench grinder or with a Dremel tool.

Do you have the part number for that one? There are several on the motion pro website. Does it fit the 09 KLX250S? Thanks for your help.

I notice their site doesn't show one, but I used the 01-0080. This model fits just about every Honda and Kawasaki dirt and DS model with a push/pull throttle. Don't get the Titan model Motion Pro as it's not supposed to have the end of the tube opened for mounting the handguards.

Zeta Quick Turn about $30...Motion Pro about $10. They both work.
