Tonights CSI MIami had a red '09 KLX in the very first scene. Looked sweet on the Big Sony screen.

are you talking about monday night or tuesday night's episode? I just looked at monday's and I didn't see any KLX, just a swamp fan boat. was it on tuesday for some reason? was it a new episode too? I'd really like to see it, wait, I'll go to my garage. Hey, I ordered my 13-toother today, hopefully it should arrive tomorrow and I can install it. aaah, having a bike again.

 

just noticed my vin# ends with 964. what are the other new bikes ending with? this seems like a pretty new one, says was manufactured 02/08. pretty fresh machinery. I'm wondering if some of the first ones have the changes like horn relocation, brake line relocation, feet guards behind the passenger footpegs, black chain guide, 300cc engine. woops, that wasn't one of them.[8D]

 

Nope..that wasn't a '09 KLX.
It looks like a KLR and a KX.

I guess we see what we want to see!

 

yea thats an older klr, and a kx two smoke... you can see the smoke

 

That thing looked almost like the KLR 650 or the older KLR 250 as EMS stated.

 

yeah you guys nailed it- that isan '07 or '06 KLR650 in the red/silver scheme. a very nice looking bike I'd consider 2-3 bikes down the road. how could anyone mistake that for a new '09 KLX though? the headlight is the most dramatic change and it is anything but square.
