08+ lcd instruments on a 06-07?

I bet you'd at least need the wiring harness and mounting frame, as well, if not more.
Go Vapor, it's lighter and has more info, and that's from a guy that actually likes the LCD over the old school speedo and tach like on my old KLR250.
And if it's important to you, I think you might actually add weight if you can get the LCD instruments working.

Why bother? Personal experience, I have the 09 250 with the digital and I have a 650 with the same set up you have. The analog instruments are much easier to use. You have to actually read the digital LCD set up, where the analog can be read at a glance. The reason drag racers use the analog instruments and a shift light. They can see the rate of on progression versus having to read bars taking more attention.
It's kind of like a digital watch, you have to read the numbers, where with an analog you can tell within a minute or two at a glance.
If I had the choice I'd have the old instrument set up. I only need one trip meter to know where I'm at with gas and it seems the clock is never quite right. I set it and somehow it's off again in spite of not having any battery issues or the like.
As said though, you need the speedo drive for the electronic speedo. No idea if it is plug and play after that. May not fit behind the headlight nacelle either.
If I went with anything I'd do the Vapor before the 09-up set up.
