I've got a '09 250SF that I'd like to put a rack on and found someone selling the rack off his '06 250S...Guy isn't local so I can't get my hands on it to see and was hoping someone here might know if that rack would fit on my bike.

Kawi made a lot of changes to the bike after 2007. Definitely do some research and get some feedback before buying "non-2009" stuff.

I'm a KLX250 newbie, sorry that's about all the advice I can offer :rolleyes

 

Thanks for the information. It seems that just about everyone I've talked to about this agrees with you. The changes after 2007 make it unlikely that the rack would fit my '09.
Decided, based on all the positive feedback I read here and elsewhere, that I'd go with the Nomadic rack which I found on ebay. It's presently advertised showing the rack mounted on the KLX250SF and looks very good.
