Vito, just curious...did you replace the KLX subframe because of a failure or another reason? Do you have any closeup pics showing how you mated the two?

not my bike.In Italy there were two preparatory movement that made this change, the first of superstructures used kxf 250 of 2004 and another of kx. questions is the modification site with pieces of kx: http://www.panterelucchesi.com/index...a/02_restyling

this is not subframe kxf because doesn't have deltabox, maybe you mean klx250 subframe with engine kxf....
subframe klx and kxf are different, take look the deltabox below the fuel tank, for klx250 just square and smaller than kxf...
anyway, thank's for sharing...

Not sure I'm following you here. The main frame and bike looks like some model of KLX250/300. The subframe that has been added is not a KLX, though I don't know enough enough the KX series to know what the subframe is for sure. Maybe I have it wrong, but isn't the subframe normally referred to as the rear portion of a dirt bike frame that has the rear fender, rear saddle attachment, rear exhaust mounts, etc.? Then again maybe I'm just missing it. The bike in the pics looks like a KLX250/300 that someone added a different rear subframe to.
