-=Bent Handlebar,new exhaust=-
Thanks WestOZ!
I had found those specks, but I'm haveing difficulty going from paper to what actually works.
I don't know what the 2009 stock handlebar measurements are, and when I measured them I must have not been using the correct measurement points, but in direct comparison the stockers seem to be close to a Moose Racing CR High. (On paper (listed measurements) The Moose Racing CR High varies from the Renthal CR High which varies from the ProTaper CR High)
The measurement variations are why I was asking about measurements (relative to stock) once you installed your JB's.
I guess better questions would be:
Do the bars make a difference in your standing position?
Does the sweep feel less? or more?
I'm 6'3", and the stock bars make for an awkward standing position.
I wish the shops here had a better handlebar selection for comparison purposes, but they don't. So I'll have to go the e route.
Thanks for your help,
Steve

Yes they feel better for me versus stock.
They are about the same width. They are taller, about 45mm. Just a tad less sweep than stock (more forward/straighter.) I'm 6'0". They work for me.

This explains alot, I think my bars are jimmy button or are jimmy button-like bars. I bought my bike with low miles on it but its clear the guy dumped it down before me and most likely replaced the bars with button bend style. only thing is he used cheap steel ones thats why I thought they were stock. They are too wide for me. I want about a half inch taken off from each end. I'm about 6' tall by the way.
Its hard to get an exact measurement with the grips on but from what I can tell my bars are just a shy bit over 32 1/4 inches, which is about 80.7cm

Those "true" Barkbusters are just what I have been looking for...thanks for the pics, WestOzKLX! That sold me on 'em.
I've been looking at a couple different kinds but those look solid and roomy. And from when I had my Jeep and sent so much money to Australia for ARB stuff, I know you guys know how to build it right.
Found an American distributor and ordered up!
