Default 2006 KLR650 suddenly won't start

2006 KLR 650 with 16k miles.

It started and ran fine 2 weeks ago. Then a few days ago, I turned on the key, had full lights and working horn & turn signal, but pushing the start button did nothing (lights didn't dim, no sounds at all).
Checked the battery, had 12V, now replaced the battery just to be sure, but same issue persists.
My thoughts on next steps: Check fuses (once I find them). Take apart the push button start switch and check for voltage and continuity.

Where is the fuse for the starter relay? Found the relay itself.
Do I have to remove the gas tank to get to the starter fuse?
Also, any other ideas or tips if you've experienced this before?

OK, just bypassed the upper of the two starter solenoids and it cranked, so it was the upper solenoid, Ordering a new one right now...
