Default rejoining crankcases

Hi
does anyone have any experience of re joining the crankcases. (KLR 250 1989) UK
I have fitted new main bearings to the crank
I fitted the left hand main bearing into the case. the right hand i fitted to the crank as the gear had to be fitted after the bearing install. I froze the crank and heated bearings to fit.
I heated the left hand inner bearing and the crank slid through nicely

I now need to put the cases back together. This means that the right hand bearing with the timing and balance chain gear has to be got into the casing. I cant heat the case in the oven as the output shaft seal is fitted and dont want to damage it.

I can heat the case with a propane torch but fear this will not be enough to get the bearing seated easily in the case.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated
Regards
Jon

Nothing quite like success. Good to hear your problem is solved.
