I need some suggestions about my problem

I would guess the pinging is pre-ignition from the timing being advanced too far, especially if you've reset the points. I saw a whole bottom end including crank and transmission fo $99 on ebay yesterday. That's way cheaper than buying a new half case from Kawasaki, if they still have one. Jim
