Hey, I just ordered a bare rear fender. I would like to bob it and put it on my 09 vulcan 500. Problem is there is an electrical box( have no idea what it is) mounted into the original fender anyone know or have any ideas on how to relocate?

 

Do you have a parts fiche of what you are mentioning? pics please

 

I can't find a picture but when you remove the seat its located on the fender its a small black electrical box

 

Sounds like it is your Junction Box that contains your fuses

You are bobbing the fender that far? A total delete then of the fender. If so, place a metal bracket to support the junction box instead of the fender.

 

No I'm putting on a completely different fender. I was thinking about rubber repenting it. Think that would work?
