The 40 minutes is an estimate, and has been happening alot. ie more than 6 months. This is BS!!!! either it is a windows thing, I will change over to a different OS if that is the case, or a setting issue. Tired of logging in and redoing all of my previous reads or not able to post at that time. This is total BS!

 

What browser are you using? I was having some logging out problems with IE. I switched to Mozilla Firefox
recently and don't have them anymore.

windows xp and ie and no problems with it ever......it just might be your provider

If it was the provider having issues, wouldn't my other forums lack the same?

 

i suppose that might be.....or it might be that the server is just really busy sometimes and doesnt function properly

 

on my system there is some problems with the links loading and working sometimes so who knows really

 

I can almost say for certain that this is a provider issue/problem. I have the lag issue a lot at home, but at work I never ever have any problems. My workplace uses telephone DSL instead of cable highspeed like I have at home.

 

It's a simple answer "we need more bandwidth" and that cost $$$$. So actually we need more advertisers soKF can afford more bandwidth!

Or we could just kill the IT person
