Default 08 Vulcan 900

Hello,

I did a search but didn't see anything so I figured I would ask. I got my vulcan a week ago and already have 900 miles on the bike. I love riding. I forgot how much I did since I stopped riding many years ago. Anyways, my question is, would drilling holes in the baffels of the exhaust be a good thing to do in order to get a better sound out of the bike? I only want to do this for a few months til I save up the cash to get cobra exhaust... but I wanted to see if I were to drill some holes what that would do.. and if I needed to do anything else to the bike if I did do that.

Thanks for any information you can provide.
