I picked up a Kawasaki Prairie 400 last week. This is one rust vin number, I found your vin decoder but it doesn't seem to be a valid number. The vin starts with a JKAVFKC102. Am I reading it wrong?
I put a new plug & coil on, new battery, new starter and solenoid. The key on, powers up the green light but doesn't turn over the starter. It does by shorting across the solenoid.
Not sure what other interlocks does it have that would keep it from turning over, low oil?
