so i got an 03 mojave 250 a few days ago, practically new maybe 10 hours on it. but everytime i start up and ride for a minute or 2, oil comes pouring out of the breather/ overflow and i havent a clue whats causing it. the engine has blow by. ive tried:
-valve adjustment
-unclogging the exhaust
-looking at some kind of black box...its fairly large and looks like some kind of surge tank for oil...? im pretty sure it coming from there but i cant be sure.

im also not sure if oil is supposed to be fed back into the engine or not...it doesnt appear to have any sort of tube leading back to the engine, and it looks like oil is going to the "surge tank" through a small tube with a 90 degree bend in it then out the breather/ overflow
*the original owner said it has done it since new* any help as to what is causing this would be appreciated. thank you

 

is it over full? i bought a used bike once and the people i bought it from started it then filled it till the sight glass was full...LOL and i had oil coming out of a breather tube on top of the motor also. maybe he filled it too much.

haha thanks, i dont think its overfull, i used a heavier oil...20-50 and it seems better now, i also replaced the oil filter and got a new plug and its definitely better
