1987 Mojave 250...NEED CARB INFO!!!!!
I have a 1987 Mojave 250. I need a new carb for this quad and am having no sucess on the computer mainly because i dont know what i am looking for. The carb that was on it was a Keihin CVK 34mm. I was thinking going with a Mikuni carb but I dont know. Please let me know what I can do. I dont want to rebuild the carb because the mixer screw is broke inside the carb..............NEED HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, I'll dig this out of the dust bin, mainly because I just got here.
The carb for the Mojo CVK is almost the same as the carb for the KLR250. You may find some of those on e-bay easier than for the Mojo. The differences are slight, but not un-workable. The KLR has two throttle cables vice one, so you just ignore one of the holders. The vent and fuel inlet are pointed slightly different directions, but just leave more slack in the line.

I found another good resource for Kaw ATV information is on www.KawieCentral.com I signed up on there about the time I found this site and found a lot of good info there from some Kaw gearheads.
