Hello I am new to the forum, I just bought an 05 KFX400 today. What should I do besides change sparkplug, oil, and clean airfilter? When I charge the battery what type of charger should I use? Its a yuasa. I have a 10 amp car battery charger , will that work? I also have a 2amp charger but I can't find it.

Your service manual will give you the general baseline of what and where to service your ride. So two important items, the service manual and the battery tender. enjoy your toy!

 

thanks for the responses. as of now I don't have the owners manual, a battery tender, or even a battery that charges. Does anyone know where I can download the manuals(service and owners) ?
