I just bought a kawasaki mojave really cheap.. just want to tinker with it and try to get it running. They swear it runs. I know the motor isnt locked up but cant be sure if it will run or not. I need to figure out what year and size it is so I can order a pull start assembly for it and try to get it going. Is there any way to tell this? Thanks

 

Well I got it running using a drill to turn the gear that the pull start hooks to.. seems to run good but the rear brake or something is locked up.. it makes a horrible squeeking and squeeling then locks up the rear tires. Still need the year and size so I can order parts. Would love to get this running by summer when I start 4 wheeling my truck so my son can ride this around.

 

I know it's been a while since you posted this, and I hope you figured out that what you have is a mojave 110 if it is a pull start model.
Find the VIN number, should be on the lower left frame tube between the front tire and the side of the motor. Count the vin number from left to right. Then the 10 th position is the year. Call a dealer or look it up on line. There's a code associated with the leter or number in that positon for the year of the unit. Also they made two 110 models one pull start only and one electric start.
