I have a 600 mule. I replaced the complete charging system. My rectifier gets up to 160°f at idle with 80° ambient temp. Is that to hot? I've already burnt up on rectifier ( mouse chewed wires, that are fixed now) It's charging 14.3v DC. I just don't want to burn up another rectifier, if there is still a problem.

 

my used 610 had a blown rectifier, previous owner changed battery for full size and was too much for the rectifier, get your battery checked but mine after starting gets pretty hot, so hot you can not hold it
