Default Kaf950A

Hi Folks. I've owned a Mule for about 5 years. Don't know where serial number is located. All I have is the Model number off the sticker. Also, the machine pops out of gear going uphill under load and I have been told it is an easy fix. Something to do with it not engaging all the way I think. So if anyone knows where the serial number is on the machine I would like to know. Also if anyone knows about fixing the gear problem that would be great. Its a great old machine and I think its a 2007 or prior but cant tell for sure.
Thanks for any help.

Cool Finding KAW. #'s

Hi,
The serial Number is Located on the Left side , driver's side , The tubing / Frame that Holds The Front Seat , That Back tube / Frame about 2-3 Inches From The Bend .
Raise up the front Seat , Use Some Brake cleaner or paint thinner to clean this area .
( DO Not Use A Wire Brush Or Sand Paper ) the Numbers And Letters Are Lightly Punched Into This Section Of The Tubing/ frame .
Hope This Helps,
Later,
Mark

Exclamation Tranny Popping gears

Hi,
The Mule "popping Out Of Gear " Can be ; Worn Shifter Cables , Plastic Bushings In
the gear Selector in the dashboard , Internal Transmission Gear Parts..
Best To Find A Factory Service Manual .
If Not Adjusted Properly ,, Damage To Tranny Internals
Hope This Helps ,
Later,
Mark
