i bought a 2510 with a bad trans for 100 bucks. i sold the motor to some people it ran fine for awhile but we eventually concluded it was pretty wore out i rebuilt it and lined up the marks on the camshaft crankshaft and flywheel. now when i crank it wont start it tries but it also pukes fuel out of the carbuerator pleases help asap. im going to try new plugs today and maybe put my other set of coils on it

 

timings probably 180 out, boss.
was it at tdc on thecompression or exhaust?


...sounds like it was set at tdc on the exhaust stroke if its blowin fuel out of the carb.

 

yeah that is my guess too i have disassembled the motor and reassembled it and aligned the timing mark on the cam sprocket and the mark on the crank gear and put it back together is there something im missing i cant find any literature on this and the
