Hello,
I have a 1996 Mule and I just replaced the crankcase gasket and water pump. I was reading the shop manual and it states the engine must be spaced from torque convertor with Kaw jig 57001-1365. I had to take out the mount bolts and raise the engine slightly to clear the frame with the case. Is this really necessary? The engine mount holes do not look adjustable, so I don't see how it could go back in a different position than where it came. Also did not remove any of the other connections such as bracing to the transmission.
